Weekend Fees 2016/17:

Materials:
All students are given a booklet of patterns and reference notes to use after the class.
Students will also be given materials that are difficult to find or will just need a small amount of.

For the more usual materials (calico, non-specialised threads etc) students are given the choice of bringing their own materials or can purchase a kit with everything required, which is pre-ordered.

Equipment:
Depending on the theme, students will usually need two embroidery rings, a pair of small sharp embroidery scissors and a selection of sewing and embroidery needles.

Accommodation (if required):
Kay will not require overnight accommodation to be provided by students.

 Lectures

Both Kay and Michael are involved in giving lectures. We often give talks to Embroiderers' Guild Branches who welcome visitors to hear a talk, contact Kay for talks in your area.

All talks are supplemented by a slide show using the latest digital projection techniques. We will bring a projection screen and twin extension lead if your group is unable to supply these. The projector only needs to be approximately 10 feet away from the screen and can operate from a table top although a projector stand is better if your group has one. If a projector stand is available we need a small table behind to sit the computer on.

Three six foot long tables are required, two for the examples of work and one for our sales table. We normally bring about 20 different examples of Kay's work and the sales table consists of books, booklets and notelets connected with stumpwork.

Cost:  £90 plus travel costs of 35p per mile.

Groups may like to consider a talk followed by a day school the next day. The costs for this are £225.00 plus travel costs of 35p per mile.
